Lenovo opens newest mobile exclusive store and launches Vibe X in Cebu

Lenovo is a brand you may have known because of their laptops/PCs. You may have used a Lenovo laptop or PC as a medical student or even as a doctor. But now Lenovo is also very much into the smartphone and tablets picture becoming one of the smartphone/tablets brands to watch.

According to Lenovo Philippines Country general Manager Michael Ngan, "Lenovo is proud that we have become the clear global leader in PCs. And even as we have strengthened our PC leadership position, we have also embraced a major shift in the marketplace. Lenovo is leading the way in the PC+ era. Not only are we number 1 in PCs, but now we are number 2 in the PC + tablet category and number 3 in Smart Connected Devices (PCs, tablets and smartphones) globally. We intend to build on our PC+ strategy and to sustain our growth momentum in the smart connected devices segment by strengthening our retail presence for mobile with the opening of more Lenovo Exclusive Mobile Stores across the archipelago."

And open a new Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Store (LMES) they did, this time in Cebu at the Level 3 of the new wing of the Ayala Center in Cebu City. This latest LMES in Cebu is the second shop outside Manila and is owned/managed by Easyline Communication Trading Corp.

The Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Store in Ayala Center Cebu offers smartphone products like the Lenovo A series, tablets (including the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 and 10), accessories and the premium smartphone Lenovo Vibe X which they also launched in Cebu on the same occasion. When buying products on the new LMES in Ayala Center Cebu, avail of discounts given from January 15 to February 14.

Botice the thinness of the Vibe X

Speaking of the Vibe X, The Lenovo Vibe X (refer to photos above) is remarkably thin (6.9 mm frame) and very light. (0.26 lbs or 121 grams). It comes with a premium polycarboante white or silver body and a laser-engraved 3D tactile finish. It also has a five-inch 20/20 Vision display with  1920x1080 full HD resolution sitting under a scratch-resistant Coming Gorilla Glass 3 screen beveled at the edges. Then there's the IPS panel for wide-viewing angles and ultra-sharp 440 pixels per inch.

Vibe X is built with 2 advanced cameras -- the front camera with a resolution capacity of 5 megapixels and wide angle 84 degree lens; and the 13 MP auto-focus rear camera which comes with a LED flash and back-illuminated sensor for sharper image capture. Guess what? You don't ahve to look for a photo editor since Vibe X is already equipped with it.

Lenovo Vibe X is running with an Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system on a Quad Core MTK 6589T 1.5GHz processor for optimum performance. Battery? Vibe X has a 2000 mAh Lithium polymer battery. Memory? It has 2GB of RAM memory and 16 GB of internal storage, plenty of room for apps, music tracks downloads and photos.

Vibe X comes preloaded with customized applications for sharing of videos, photos and documents, malicious software protection and data restoration. The Vibe X I saw had already an Anti-Theft feature with it.
