About Cebu

Cebu is one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines located in the Visayas region with Cebu City (also known as the Queen City of the South) as the main center of commerce, education and industry.

It is blessed with many wonderful tourist destinations highlighted by white sand beaches, sparkling blue waters and warm, friendly people.

Among the famous destinations in Cebu include Bantayan Island, Camotes group of islands, Malapascua and Sumilon. There is also the Kawasan falls.

Cebu's climate is subtropical and compared to the rest of the country, typhoon activity is minor.

A good time to visit Cebu is during the Sinulog festival in January when the feast of the Child Jesus is being celebrated with a religious procession and a grand dance parade.
